"The game has such a hold on golfers because they compete not only against an opponent, but also against the course, against par, and, most surely, against themselves." - Arnold Palmer

Our talented professional staff will tailor each individual program to meet the needs of the student. Your instructor will analyze each part of your game including full swing, putting, chipping, pitching, and bunker play.

  • Private Golf Lessons
    • At SGCC private lessons are specifically focused on the individual needs and wants of the player. Each student is different and has unique DNA matchups of movement and face dynamics. Our staff is highly knowledgeable in recognizing these movements and adapting instruction to create a best fit lesson for each individual golfer. The use of On-Form Video analysis is the first step in capturing the golfer. Our staff then analyzes the video and determines the best applications. Each golfer will receive notes, videos, and voice overs to take home and study.  Use of more technology is always an option at SGCC as well. Launch monitors (Flightscope x3 and Foresight GCQuad) and Boditrak (Pressure Mapping Sensors) can be made available to the golfer to dive deeper into the education and training for better overall movement patterns.  Please reach out to us for any other specific training needs .

  • Golf Clinics
    • Our professional staff is pleased to offer golf clinics and golf schools for our membership to help them improve their game. These clinics vary from group classes arranged for specific leagues, such as our WGA-9 or Retirees groups, to off-season clinics designed to keep a player's game in good shape over the winter.

  • FlightScope
    • FlightScope allows us to conduct club and ball fittings that rival the fittings PGA Tour Players receive. FlightScope introduced the world’s first-ever 3D Doppler Tracking Golf Radar, a state-of-the-art, portable indoor-outdoor 3D ball-flight and club tracking device with capabilities far beyond traditional launch monitor technology. FlightScope’s 3D ball tracking devices measure a number of variables including real time tracking, ball speed, both vertical and horizontal launch angles, sidespin, and backspin. FlightScope can also help with your golf swing analysis by measuring variables related to your golf club including club head speed, club vertical attack angle, club horizontal attack angle, and club face angle.

      Options available:

      • FlightScope Combines
      • Yardage mapping and distance gapping matrix
      • Speed Training
  • Operation 36
    • Springfield Golf & Country Club is proud to be an Operation 36 Certified Training Facility. The Operation 36 development model is used for both adults and juniors, and aims to get our golfers to shoot (par) 36 or better from a full tee-box. This model creates tangible, achievable goals and allows our coaches to track player development over time.

  • PGA Junior League
    • PGA Junior League is a fun, social, and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls ages 5-17 to learn and enjoy the game of golf. Much like other recreational league sports, participants wear numbered jerseys and play on teams with their friends. Each of SGCC's PGA Junior League teams is captained by a PGA or LPGA Professional who serves as the coach and is at the forefront of creating a welcoming environment that stimulates a love of golf. PGA Junior League utilizes a popular scramble format that nurtures development and learning both on and off the course.
